Job Description
The YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Fitness Counselor to provide excellent instruction, motivation, and support to members and program participants in the fitness center. The role focuses on promoting wellness and upholding safety standards in the wellness area. YMCA prioritizes inclusivity, support, and opportunities for personal growth.
Requirements
- Provides proactive support to members and program participants in the Fitness Center.
- Remains visible to participants when on duty.
- Communicates and enforces wellness center rules.
- Conducts tours of wellness areas.
- Promotes wellness and other YMCA programs.
- Inspects equipment in the Fitness Center.
- Communicates concerns or incidents to the supervisor.
