Job Description
YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Water Aerobics Instructor to provide excellent instruction and support to members and program participants. The role involves teaching group exercise programs, maintaining cleanliness of the pool area, and promoting wellness. It emphasizes a welcoming, inclusive environment valuing individual growth and a sense of belonging.
Requirements
- Leads fitness and/or related classes following YMCA standards.
- Communicates and enforces wellness center rules.
- Wears comfortable attire for classes.
- Starts class 10-15 minutes prior.
- Sets up/takes down equipment.
- Keeps attendance records.
- Inspects equipment for safety.
- Maintains cleanliness of the pool area.
- Train sub-coaches when needed.
