Job Description
The YMCA is seeking a Day Porter to maintain building cleanliness and assist with daily housekeeping. This role involves performing custodial duties like litter removal, vacuuming, and maintaining cleanliness. Self-starter position with minimal supervision, offering flexible and rewarding work opportunities. Emphasis is placed on building relationships with members and volunteers.
Requirements
- Build/Grounds litter as needed
- Ensure Mirrors/Windows/Glass were cleaned daily
- Trash Management (emptied and wipe containers)
- Vacuum All Carpet Areas
- Toilet/Urinal/Sink Clean and Disinfect
- Refill and Clean Dispensers
- Showers Disinfect and Clean throughout the day and as needed
- Scrub/Mop Hard Floors
- Assist with Deep Clean (Carpet, Tile, etc.)
- High Dust
- Assist with Stairwell/Running Track detail
- Air Dispenser Cartridge Change
- Exterior Window Cleaning
- Report any facility issues through supervisor
