Job Description
The position is for a Senior Focused Exercise Instructor within the Rankin YMCA. The instructor will lead group exercise classes, provide instruction, answer questions, and build community. They are responsible for student safety, class record keeping, and communication. The role requires CPR/AED/O2/First Aid certification and a strong commitment to the YMCA's mission.
Requirements
- Current CPRPR/AED/O2/First Aid certification
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 6 months or 60 hours of practical exercise class experience
- Ability to lift 10+ pounds
- Attendance at mandatory association meetings
- Record keeping, incident reporting and class monitoring
- Communication and motivational skills
