Before and After School: Instructors, Teachers, and Supervisors - West Suburban

Our Before and After School Care staff play a key role in engaging with youth while providing excellent educational care. With a focus on academic enhancement, safety, health, and social growth, our Before and After School programs allow children to explore and develop their interests and talents. All of our available positions offer the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young people.

Requirements

• Implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and actively participate in daily activities for youth before and after school
• Serve as a role model to staff and participants
• Develop positive relationships with staff, families, and children
• Maintain participant records and other documentation in accordance with department requirements
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of learning spaces and classrooms
• Follow the YMCA of Greater Waukesha County's emergency procedures
• Uphold the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility
• Follow all relevant regulations from the Department of Children and Families, or other regulatory agencies
• Attend all staff meetings and trainings as required
