Job Description
The Site Supervisor, Out of School Time will lead a Full-Time Out of School Time program in a school setting, managing daily operations, supervising staff, and creating engaging activities for students. This split-shift role includes before and after school programming, midday administrative tasks, and leading staff.
Requirements
- Implement risk management to provide safety and well-being of all children
- Integrate YMCA character development program into daily programming
- Support parental communications and staff with appropriate interactions with children, including discipline procedures
- Proactively clean and/or repair program areas; maintain supplies and equipment
- Attend all training courses, staff meetings and in-services without exception
- Support pre-camp staff training program and on-going in-service training for camp and OST staff
- Be familiar with the mission statement and core values of the YMCA. Model the core values while working and communicating with other staff members
- Be knowledgeable and supportive of the YMCA Annual Support Campaign, and general procedures and policies, including personnel guidelines, facility access procedures, membership policies, and emergency plans
