Job Description
The YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the foundation of community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The lifeguard is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions under Y policies and safety rules.
Requirements
- At a minimum, some high school level education (over 16+ years of age)
- 1 year of experience is preferred, but not required
- Current American Red Cross Lifeguard license is preferred, but not required (we offer certification)
- CPR for the Professional Rescuer, Basic First Aid, AED, and Emergency Oxygen
