Job Description
The YMCA of Northeastern Ontario is looking for Day Camp Counsellors to join their team. The ideal candidate is dynamic, able to work as part of a progressive team, enjoys working with children, and is capable of managing multiple tasks. The position involves planning and delivering daily programs, supervising and engaging with participants, and ensuring safety and communication with staff and parents.
Requirements
- Possession of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) preferred
- Experience working/leading group activities with children ages 4 to 12 years of age
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR C
- Current and satisfactory Police Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
