Job Description
Counselors are the primary caregivers for each camper and are responsible for planning, teaching, and carrying out daily activities related to weekly themes that fulfill the mission of the YMCA of Northwest North Carolina and our Summer Day Camp.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age
- Demonstrate responsibility, dependability, patience and understanding, good decision making, and receive and follow instructions
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to sit, stand, or maintain physical activity for extended periods of time (including outside and in the pool)
- Appreciate diversity and practice inclusion
