Job Description
Lead Summer Camp Counselor responsible for supervising a group of children aged 5-12 years, ensuring their health and safety, and implementing high-quality programs at the YMCA of the Virginia Peninsula.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of experience as a Camp Counselor
- Minimum two years of experience working with children in a supervised setting
- Proof of negative TB test within the last two years
- Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED/O2
- Medication Administration Training (MAT) Certification
- Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check, sex offender registry, and Child Protective Services check
