Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor plans, administers, and supervises the warehouse workforce to complete daily warehouse activities and to meet daily productivity standards.
Requirements
- Supervise warehouse employees to ensure daily shipping and receiving activities are completed
- Audit outbound freight to ensure correct merchandise is being shipped
- Control the equipment inspection process to ensure the equipment is safe and in working condition
- Inspect the warehouse fire equipment to ensure all regulations are met
- Train warehouse workers in regard to warehousing activities
- Maintain accurate time keeping for warehousemen, and pre-authorize overtime
- Work closely with inventory control to ensure inventory accuracy
- Audit warehouse activity to ensure safety requirements are met and OSHA guidelines are followed
