ICA Technician

We are looking for an ICA Technician to join our regional team in the North West, North East, or South of Yorkshire. As an ICA Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and commissioning instrumentation, control, automation, and telemetry systems across Yorkshire Water's asset base. You will work unsupervised in a wide variety of locations and be accountable for the completion of planned and reactive ICA tasks within agreed timescales.

Requirements

• Recognised electrical craft or technician apprenticeship
• Formal electrical qualification: National Certificate (ONC) or similar
• Practical electrical qualification: City and Guilds, NVQ or similar
• IT skills
• IET 18th edition (requirements for electrical installations)
• CompEx: Ex 1, EX 2, EX 3, EX 4
• HNC electrical/electronic engineering
• Knowledge and experience on PLC systems (maintenance and fault finding)
• Professionally registered with the IET or similar
• Experience in the water industry or other process environment
• IOSH Qualification
