Job Description
Yorkshire Water is seeking a skilled Modeller to contribute to their Strategy & Regulation team, supporting hydraulic, environmental, and strategic planning for wastewater management. The role involves developing high-quality urban drainage models and driving innovation in modelling practices, impacting investment decisions at AMP8. The team focuses on delivering significant environmental programmes and provides excellent service to customers.
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant discipline including some modelling activity and/or previous experience in urban drainage modelling
- Competent in the use of specialist modelling software, e.g. InfoWorks ICM
- Knowledge of how sewerage systems operate
- Strong data manipulation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of hydraulics and hydraulic calculations
- Ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships
