We are looking for a Project Engineer to join the Specialist Projects Team at Yorkshire Water. The role involves developing and delivering cost engineered solutions, managing project design, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have an Electrical, ICA, or mechanical based apprenticeship or Engineering degree, and experience working in a regulated utility or major asset management environment.
Requirements
- Electrical, ICA, or mechanical based apprenticeship or Engineering degree or equivalent
- ONC/HNC/BTEC in Electrical, ICA, or mechanical Engineering
- Thorough understanding and working Knowledge of the CDM regulations and their practical application
- Ability to respond/answer to a wide range of specific technical and non-technical detailed queries
- CITB SMSTS trained with valid card
- Knowledge of the range of equipment within the water industry
- Experience working in a regulated utility or major asset management / delivery with a wide ranging asset base
- Experience of driving sustainable performance against challenging business targets
- Previous experience in a commercially orientated and or regulated environment
