Solution Development Engineer (Process)

Join Yorkshire Water as a Solution Development Engineer (Process) and contribute to providing great service for customers while looking after the environment. The role involves evaluating treatment and pumping processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and leading change management processes.

Requirements

• BEng or MEng degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
• Process engineering experience, preferably within the water / wastewater sector
• Strong understanding of major water and wastewater treatment processes
• Knowledge of environmental protection and water‐quality‐related legislation
• Commercial awareness with a strong understanding of risk and value
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non‐engineers
• Experience working with external contractors and cross‐functional teams
• Confidence in leading and facilitating multi‐disciplinary groups
