Job Description
YouGov is a global online research company seeking a Software Engineer to build high-value features, improve architecture, and ensure service availability and efficiency. The role involves working with a diverse team, producing code with high volumes of traffic, and contributing to the evolution of our tech stack. It emphasizes diversity of background and a modern testing approach.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of commercial experience with the tech-stack.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with a highly distributed microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Python and web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI, Django, CherryPy).
- Experience with MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL.
- Good knowledge of Docker.
- Experience with Kubernetes and AWS technologies.
- Ability to think abstractly and handle ambiguous problems.
