Job Description
We are looking for a Head of Accounting (m/w/d) to lead a team of 7 employees and be responsible for accounting and tax issues of an internationally operating company group. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience in accounting, leadership skills, and knowledge of IFRS and HGB.
Requirements
- Completed study in economics, ideally with a focus on accounting/valuation
- At least 7 years of experience in accounting, ideally with a background in one of the Big4
- Leadership experience, including leading medium-sized teams
- Excellent knowledge of accounting under IFRS and HGB
- Experience in preparing almost close monthly and annual financial statements
- Fluent communication skills in German and English
