Job Description
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate program in accordance with all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Proof of health and immunization clearance - MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella), Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis, TB (Tuberculosis) and Flu (Influenza) shot or a waiver of the flu shot.
- Livescan Background and Child Abuse Index Check Professional reference and employment history checks.
- Pediatric CPR/First Aid
- Trainings: Pesticide Management, Child Abuse Mandated Reporter, ServSafe (required for staff serving meals).
- Must speak English and be able to teach the English language.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
