Job Description
This is a Seasonal Position that requires the supervision, programming, and safety of campers. The Counselor must be able to lead activities, manage camper behavior, and work efficiently. The position is responsible for ensuring that the mission, purpose, image, and core values of the YMCA of Greater Rochester are conveyed.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age and have completed sophomore year of high school
- Must have experience and a genuine interest in camp and working with children
- Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR for the Professional Rescuer required
- Must possess values consistent with the mission of the YMCA
