The Controller manages the Association's core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash management, and grant accounting, under the direction of the Vice President of Finance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum of five years of progressively responsible accounting experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit and fund accounting, grant compliance, and internal control frameworks
- Advanced proficiency with accounting systems, financial software, and Excel-based reporting tools
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and support accounting staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
