Job Description
To provide a positive environment for children, maintain a safe and clean kitchen, and prepare nutritious meals and snacks. Acquire and maintain a food handler's certificate.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED and be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Drivers License & Insurance with vehicle for transport of food to other locations
- Experience as a kitchen assistant
- Experience in preparing food for large groups
- Knowledge of standard food preparation, serving, and kitchen procedures
- Must have CPR/AED/First Aid, and Food Handlers certification
- Licensing requires that all childcare staff must have 15 hours of in-service training each year
