Sr. Backend Engineer (Python)

We are seeking an experienced Python/Django Backend Engineer to support development of systems in the energy sector. The role involves developing and maintaining Django backend applications, working with PostgreSQL and system integrations, and contributing to feature design and technical decisions.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of commercial experience with Python/Django
• Ability to work effectively with complex existing codebases
• Solid grasp of software architecture and logical reasoning
• Strong communication and requirements-analysis skills
• Confidence in technical decision-making
• Good knowledge of REST APIs, Git, and Linux
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, or cloud basics (e.g., Azure) (preferred)
• Experience building stable and secure systems (preferred)
