Job Description
YourCode is seeking an experienced IBM Power System Administrator to oversee daily administration, monitoring, and maintenance of IBM i (AS/400) systems. The position requires deep expertise in IBM Power Systems and the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently and professionally.
Requirements
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience with IBM HMC administration, LPAR configuration, system backups, virtual tape management, device administration, and user profile management
- High proficiency with object-level security and authority management
- DB2 administration experience (desirable)
- Experience with IBM i OS upgrades, migrations, and system builds (desirable)
- Familiarity with the banking or financial-services sector (desirable)
