Lead Solutions Engineer

The Lead Solutions Engineer will lead the development and customization of Loan Origination Systems (LOS) for clients, provide technical leadership to a team of Solutions Engineers, and collaborate with sales and product teams to understand customer requirements and propose technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven technical experience as a lead software engineer (or higher)
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and inspire a technical team
• Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud computing, and enterprise-level applications
• Hands-on experience in building and owning software solutions using React and NodeJS
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL and NoSQL databases
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, like AWS, and experience with cloud-based architectures
• Exceptional ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to simplify complex requirements into actionable solutions
• Superior organizational skills and obsessively detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Advanced proficiency in English
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Prior experience within financial industry is preferred, but interest in learning about complex financial products is required
• Familiarity with low-code tools, specifically Retool and workflow management software
• Expertise with product & sprint management tools, specifically Linear
• Champion for collaborative work through Google Docs and Notion
