The Clinician position is responsible for implementing and facilitating the clinical components of the YAP St. Louis program in partnership with the Office of Violence Prevention.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a Human Services field required.
- Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Martial and Family Therapist, or Independent-Level Social Worker preferred.
- Licensure as a Temporary Mental Health Counselor, Temporary Martial and Family Therapist, or Master's-Level Social Worker is acceptable with proof of a supervision contract with an approved independent-level supervisor
- Applicable licensure must be in good standing with licensure board.
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families
- Experience facilitating groups
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
