The Qualified Mental Health Professional – Community Services (QMHP-CS) is responsible for providing Targeted Case Management and Rehabilitative Services to youth with serious emotional disturbances and their families. The position has flexible work hours and is an opportunity to provide behavioral health services to families within their communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a human services related fields, as defined by Texas Administrative Code.
- Valid state licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.) as a mental health professional
- Experience in the provision of home and community-based services.
- CPR/First Aid Certification. Behavior Management (MANDT) Certification.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches for various mental health conditions.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Bi-Lingual (Spanish Speaking) is preferred.
