Senior Utility Engineer

YU & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Utility Engineer to join our team, responsible for supporting the planning, design, and preparation of contract documents for stormwater and utility infrastructure construction.

Requirements

• Manage utility aspects of projects, oversee design and production of plans and specifications
• Collaborate with project teams to analyze utility relocation conflicts on infrastructure projects
• Review and provide feedback on Utility Owner design submittals
• Coordinate utility design efforts with consultants and stakeholders
• Perform constructability reviews to ensure compatibility with construction methods
• Analyze projects and direct ASCE SUE investigations
• Compile and compute a variety of engineering data
• Prepare plans, and details and develop engineering drawings, specifications, and other project deliverables
• Support and participate in the development and mentorship of staff
