Job Description
Yugabyte is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join their Database Management Platform, YugabyteDB Anywhere (YBA). This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining tests to validate the YBA platform in hybrid infrastructure environments, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance. YugabyteDB is a PostgreSQL-compatible distributed database designed for cloud-native workloads.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in database, infrastructure, or enterprise software.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and validation of distributed systems.
- Hands-on testing experience in hybrid infrastructure environments (VMs, Kubernetes, air-gapped).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native technologies.
