The YWCA Central Alabama is seeking a Child Development Teacher to assist with providing high quality learning environment for homeless and low-income children.

Requirements

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
• Maintain classroom discipline using behavioral management techniques.
• Keep accurate records on children.
• Provide constant supervision of all children.
• Assist with development of instructional classroom materials.
• Maintain a personal development plan for growth in the field of child development.
• Attend required meetings and in-service trainings.
• Maintain confidentiality about staff, children and parents.
• Perform all other duties deemed necessary for the smooth operation of the program and the agency.
