Job Description
Children and Youth Gender-Based Violence Community Advocate at YWCA Seattle King Snohomish: support Black and African American youth and families impacted by gender-based violence, provide trauma-informed advocacy, and develop safety plans.
Requirements
- Culturally relevant advocacy with trauma-informed approach to children and youth
- Crisis intervention, education, and support to children, youth, and families
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Ability to navigate and coordinate across multiple systems
- Commitment to complete 30 hours of advocacy-based domestic violence training
