Engineer III Mechanical - Nuclear

Zachry Nuclear Engineering is seeking an Engineer III for a direct hire position in Stonington, CT or Charlotte, NC. The role involves performing engineering and design activities on power plant upgrades, new power plant projects, and improving plant safety and reliability. It requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to work in a team environment. Overtime work is expected.

Requirements

• BS in mechanical, chemical, or nuclear engineering from an ABET accredited university
• 6 years of mechanical engineering experience (or equivalent)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Presentation skills to client review boards
• Proficiency in Mathcad, Microsoft Office software
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to pass security and drug screening
• Compliance with company policies and procedures
