An Industrial Mechanic will install, assemble, dismantle, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery at an Industrial Power Plant.
Requirements
- Works with industry-specific and high complex equipment
- Plan, inspect, verify and document the scope of work
- Replace gaskets and other defective parts on machinery.
- Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools
- Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors and tram rails
- Operate engine lathes, grinders, and files.
- Fabricate and install parts, equipment and machinery by measuring, cutting, drilling and/or welding
- Turn machine parts to dimensional specifications
- Unload, inspect, move and set equipment into position using cranes, hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks
- Conducts preventative maintenance such as lubrication and fixing or repairing worn parts.
