Job Description
This Pipe Welder/Boilermaker position involves working with various types of industrial pipe to install them into pipe systems. The role requires a strong understanding of welding procedures and safety protocols. NCCER Boilermaker qualification is mandatory.
Requirements
- Welding skills in 2g, 4g, and 6g conditions
- Ability to stick and tig weld on pipe
- Successful weld test
- 4+ years of industrial welding experience
- Knowledge of geometry, physical properties, weld shrinkage, and welding techniques
- Ability to meet all physical requirements (standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, lifting, picking up, lifting, carrying, and moving up to 50lbs)
- Adherence to safety requirements
- Tool selection and layout
- Safety risk identification
