Job Description
Zachry Engineering Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls Specialist I to work on engineering projects in Downers Grove, IL. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cost and scheduling and work on challenging projects for well-known clients in the Oil & Gas industry.
Requirements
- Assist project manager in developing project scope of work
- Study and understand project documents
- Work with project and discipline personnel to prepare schedules
- Prepare realistic, achievable schedules
- Monitor progress against project schedule
- Collect expended man-hours
- Prepare Earned Value reports and analysis
- Provide realistic resource forecast data
- Support cost discipline to ensure accurate and timely control and forecasting of man-hour budgets
