Project Engineer I-ENG

Zachry Engineering Corporation is looking for a Project Engineer I-ENG to join their Project Management Department in Downers Grove, IL, working on design projects for clients in the process and power industries.

Requirements

• Support the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and controlling assigned aspects of a project
• Implement assignments and activities delegated from the Project Manager
• Define the work scope and prepare overall schedules and budgets on small projects
• Develop cost estimates for additional work or contract modifications
• Coordinate discipline engineering activities
• Review engineered drawings for consistency with work scope
• Manage project communications using project management tools
• Implement work hour control and report on Engineering Change Notices
• Prepare progress reports
• Review and evaluate staff expenditures
