Job Description
Zachry Engineering Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer II to join our Project Management Department in Charlotte, NC. The role involves supporting project managers in planning and organizing projects, implementing assignments, and coordinating engineering activities.
Requirements
- Support project managers in planning and organizing projects
- Implement assignments and activities delegated from project managers
- Assist in developing cost estimates for additional work or contract modifications
- Coordinate discipline engineering activities
- Review engineered drawings for consistency with work scope
- Review reports to ensure consistency with contractual requirements
- Facilitate quality control procedures
- Prepare progress reports
- Support preparation of interactive planning sessions
- Review and evaluate staff expenditures
- Define work scope and prepare overall schedules and budgets
- Control assigned aspects of a project
- Update schedules and implement corrections or adjustments
