Design Engineer II - Optical

Design Engineer II - Optical position responsible for performing complex tasks with diverse circuit design activities, managing network design assignments and communicating with internal teams. Works under limited supervision and has a significant impact on customer satisfaction and future revenues.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of network QOS, IP routing, Ethernet switching, and packet and waves tagging mechanisms.
• Intermediate knowledge of Data Networking and telecommunications, including understanding of basic bandwidth and services: EoF, 3rd party transport, long haul through our own Network.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and Google programs and project management software.
