Fiber Engineer-Long Haul Implementation

Zayo is seeking a Fiber Engineer to support the design and documentation of the physical fiber path across the Zayo network, with primary responsibility for maintaining accurate network records and inventory systems in support of providing fiber-based services.

Requirements

• Maintain and update fiber network records in internal database systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy of physical plant information
• Ensure fiber optic database is current and accurate by inputting data of physical fiber assets and fiber enclosures into the data management system
• Research existing databases, files, and records for purposes of network documentation, fiber optimization, and relocation of fiber facilities
