Job Description
Zayo is seeking a Field Technician II in the greater NYC/New Jersey area to perform duties associated with hands on functions within the telecommunications industry.
Requirements
- Must reside within 1 hour of the New York/New Jersey metro areas.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years Telecom Field experience: installing, testing or turning up a variety of telecommunications equipment including SONET, TDM, DWDM, IP or Ethernet based equipment
- OTDR experience preferred
- DC Power experience preferred
- Ability to regularly lift and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to pass MVR check, to maintain eligibility to operate a company issued vehicle per our policy
