Desktop Motor Engineer

Zego is seeking a highly skilled Desktop Motor Engineer to drive excellence, quality, and innovation in vehicle assessments and repairs. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience with vehicle repairs and body damage assessment, and be able to review engineering reports and assess repair methods.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience with vehicle repairs and body damage assessment, ideally within insurance or accident management.
• Confident review of engineering reports, assessment of repair methods, and evaluation of costs.
• Comfortable using tools like Glass's Guide, Audatex, GT Motive, and E Scribe.
• Strong understanding of roadworthy vehicle requirements under the Road Traffic Act.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and have strong verbal and written skills to work effectively with salvage agents, repair networks, and internal teams.
• ATA VDA certification is a plus, and a current AQP qualification ID number is required.
