Zego is looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to help shape the future of their platforms and services. The role involves leading multiple engineers, designing and building Python microservices, and driving architectural discussions and decisions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building cloud-native microservices, deep knowledge of programming fundamentals, and a calm and pragmatic mindset.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineer with hands-on experience building cloud-native microservices
- Deep knowledge of programming fundamentals
- Experience with distributed architectures, performance tuning and observability
- Leadership skills and ability to mentor and coach engineers
- Ability to drive architectural discussions and decisions
- Experience with AI and willingness to leverage it to enhance work
