As a SDET QA Engineer, you will ensure that the products meet the required quality standards by developing and documenting testing procedures and testing software products for functionality and usability. You will be responsible for testing and supporting cloud native, highly available, robust and secure applications in the AWS environment. You will collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to own product software development, contribute and promote standards and engineering best practices, support operational activities such as; process automation, compliance activities, SLA upkeep requirements.
Requirements
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Monitor debugging process results
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
- Works together with the software developer to enhance and improve programs
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
