Job Description
Zello is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own data tier reliability and contribute to monitoring, on-call, and cloud modernization efforts. The ideal candidate has experience operating highly available MySQL and MongoDB in production at scale and can diagnose database performance end-to-end.
Requirements
- Operated highly available MySQL and MongoDB in production at scale
- Diagnosed database performance end-to-end
- Shipped meaningful work on bare metal Linux, containerized workloads, and a major cloud
- Instrumented what you build
- Wrote code that runs in production
- Communicated clearly under pressure and after the fact
- Brought an opinion on managed vs. self-managed databases
