Job Description
The IT Hardware Lab Test Engineer will be responsible for test execution, test planning, and storage setup for multiple scenarios. They will also support reliability/stress runs at scale, functional and stress runs, and performance, longhaul and scalability runs. Additionally, they will coordinate hardware failures and replacements, support Dedup Selfhost, and perform performance, scale, longhaul and workload validations for Azure Storage.
Requirements
- Hardware experience working in a lab
- Debugging skills using tools such as indbg, kd, and ntsd
- Storage stress and reliability validation skills
- Scripting skills in Powershell, JavaScript, and batch scripting
