Job Description
Mayzon is seeking a Machine Operator II to independently set up, program, and operate automated and manual woodworking machinery within the Wood Department. The role supports Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives by producing parts within established tolerances while minimizing downtime and scrap.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum two (2) years of machine setup and operation experience in a woodworking or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to independently perform advanced setups and changeovers
- Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and technical documentation
- Proficiency using precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Working knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
