Senior Product Manager, Data Platform (Orchestration)

The Senior Product Manager, Data Platform (Orchestration) will define how applications and AI agents securely and reliably access and compose data and capabilities across Zillow. They will own strategy and execution across MCP Gateway and ZG Graph, establishing consistent access patterns, authentication and authorization standards, operational excellence bars, and scalable onboarding models.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience, ideally building internal platforms, APIs, gateways, developer infrastructure, or data systems that support multiple teams
• Strong technical fluency in distributed systems, service-to-service communication, authentication patterns, APIs, and platform architecture concepts, with the ability to reason about reliability and security tradeoffs
• Proven ability to define platform strategy and operating models that scale beyond initial experimentation into production-grade infrastructure
• Clear, structured communicator who can influence engineers and stakeholders through data, operational reasoning, and strong product judgment
