Senior Producer

Zinc Network is seeking a Senior Producer to oversee a suite of content as part of an exciting new project. The role involves finding and selecting stories, commissioning videos and social posts, and managing a small team creating them. The ideal candidate will have substantial journalistic experience, a creative and innovative approach to content production, and excellent written and spoken English.

Requirements

• Must have UK government security clearance (SC)
• Excellent understanding of social media platforms
• Eastern European languages preferred but not essential
• Several years’ experience in a journalistic role, ideally with editorial oversight of others
• Several years’ experience of video production, with numerous scripting, producing and edit producer credits
• High level of creativity and ability to come up with attention-grabbing creative ideas
• Experience of archive research and motion graphics
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Positive and flexible ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to solve problems
• Ability to get on well with the team
