Job Description
Zipline is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in avionics to develop for a new generation aircraft. This role involves designing hardware components, working collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, and contributing to the development of Zipline's vision of accessible, equitable, and resilient global supply chains. The engineer will be responsible for design, validation, and production, and will have the opportunity to lead initiatives and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- Engineer avionics for volume production through a full design cycle
- Engineer avionics for volume production
- Lead trade studies and understand competing design priorities
- Design experience with mixed-signal, high-speed digital, SoM compute integration, high-speed serial busses, and electro-magnetic compatibility
- Experience working with WiFi, Cell, GNSS, ADS-B, Cameras, Microphones is a preferred qualification
- Experience working on fail safe and fail operational electronics including aerospace and medical is a preferred qualification
