Job Description
Zipline is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to join their flight reliability team. This role involves designing, testing, and deploying complex electromechanical systems into safety-critical environments. The company is focused on bringing technology that delivers what you need, when you need it, solving challenges in access, logistics, and healthcare.
Requirements
- BS and/or MS in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- 8+ years of experience in safety critical electromechanical systems
- Proven track record of setting up systems safety processes
- Demonstrated track record of developing first-principles based safety analysis
- Knowledge of resilient fault and fail-safe modes
- Leadership skills for developing systems safety skills
