Job Description
Zscaler is seeking a Senior Staff Software Development Engineer to join our Engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud infrastructure, Java, and Golang, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, building and maintaining robust microservices, and participating in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Golang
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and managing containerized workloads in AWS
- Strong background in incident response and on-call procedures
- Proficiency with security tools such as Falco, Trivy, Nessus, or Wazuh
- Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools like ArgoCD
- Experience with service mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, or Consul Connect
